My Story
Dr. Mint was a nickname donned by patients and colleagues, once I started my own business in 2018. I was raised in North Miami Beach, FL and eagerly returned to my hometown to share my passion for Chiropractic and the benefits of scientific care with my community. I am a proud father of two wonderful girls and enjoy spending time with my partner, family, and friends. My other passions include: business, music, and nature. The reason I became so passionate about chiropractic and decided to enroll in school to become a Doctor of Chiropractic is:
"I was fortunate enough to discover the benefits of Chiropractic care after my first adjustment at eight-teen years old. You see, I had suffered a head trauma in a mountain biking accident six years earlier (age 12), which caused a detrimental change to my life and my health. Aside from headaches and TMJ problems following a concussion, I had acquired deafness in my right ear. After two surgeries on my ear drum, with little improvement I started to lose hop of ever hearing again. from this. It was because of my injuries in a Car Accident that a friend referred me to a local Chiropractor. After my first week of chiropractic adjustments, I had a life-changing experience! I squatted down to get something from the lower cabinet in my kitchen when I heard a loud pop in my right ear, followed by a draining sensation inside my ear canal. All of a sudden my hearing improved! I could hear way better and more than before. For example, I could hear the engine of the cars driving outside on the streets, the tick tock of the clocks, and was finally able to communicate with someone whispering in my right ear (with background noise, that always interfered in the past). That was the moment my purpose became clear: I needed to share this with the world! Finally I understood Chiropractic is beyond treating pain, although it helps a great deal with that as well. It is about the human body performance, achieving its potential and unlocking your ability to heal!"
This experience changed the course of my life. It is why I am passionate to raise awareness, starting with my community! Everyone has the right to perform at their best, live their best life, and heal to their full potential. I want to share this message with as many families and give this experience to as many people as possible, so together we can make the world a better place. My career has evolved from personal gains in my own health and that is what I want to share with others who are on a similar journey of achieving wellness.
